SFCED TEAM

  • Dennis Conaghan is the Executive Director for the San Francisco Center for Economic Development. In his role, Dennis is responsible for directing the Center's attraction and retention programs. Previously, Dennis was Chief Operating Officer for the Chamber of Commerce where he was responsible for directing the marketing, membership, financial and facilities operations of the 150-year-old organization.

    Prior to joining the Chamber in 1999, Dennis spent more than 30 years in the commercial real estate industry. For 10 of those years, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of San Francisco's Embarcadero Center, overseeing six office buildings, two hotels, and more than 120 retail stores. He also has been responsible for operations and management at Coca-Cola World Headquarters in Atlanta, Tenneco in Houston, and the Bank of America World Headquarters, when it was here in San Francisco.

    In addition to his role at the Chamber, Dennis served on the board of directors of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the San Francisco Senior Center. He currently serves on the board of directors for Workforce Investment San Francisco, the Bay Area Marketing Partnership, and Team California. Email Dennis at dconaghan@sfchamber.com.


  • Meghan Tymoff is the Director of Business Development. In her role, Meghan is responsible for supporting the Executive Director in developing the Center's attraction and retention programs. Prior to joining the SFCED, Meghan consulted at the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce in developing the Oakland Partnership with the Office of the Mayor. Previously, she worked for bay area-based international consulting firms, including DPK Consulting and the Economic Competitiveness Group.

    Meghan specializes in management of economic development projects, including strategy formulation and implementation, policy, and market analysis. Her areas of expertise include: conducting enabling environment assessments; group facilitation of diverse stakeholders; and promoting the establishment of partnerships/collaborations between companies and their public sector counterparts for sustainable results.

    Her breadth of experience includes work in U.S. counties and cities, as well as countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Meghan also spent two years with the David & Lucile Packard Foundation, working in the Cross-Cutting Initiatives Program that sought to increase the impact of Foundation funding through collaboration, and by stimulating existing links between grantees. She holds a masters degree from Columbia University and is proficient in French. Email Meghan at mtymoff@sfced.org.


  • Clementine Ntshaykolo is the Administrative and Communications Coordinator for the San Francisco Center for Economic Development. In her role, Clementine is responsible for supporting the team in developing investor relations, compilation of newsletter and external communications, strategic maintenance of data and website, on-line research, development of presentation materials, management of SFCED events, and management of intern program.

    Previously, Clementine worked as an intern for Supervisor Aaron Peskin’s office, and also did an internship with the Habeas Corpus Resource Center here in San Francisco. For the last two years she has worked as a Legal Assistant in civil right law. Clementine graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2004, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. Email Clementine at cntshaykolo@sfced.org.
