S.F. hotel rates continue to fall
Hotel rates continued to decline in January 2010, though occupancy appears to have stabilized.
According to PFK Consulting's Trends report, room rates fell 9.4 percent in January, to $151.47 from $167.20 in January 2009. Occupancy held steady for the month at 61.4 percent, a 0.6 percent increase from January 2009 occupancy of 61 percent.
