Constant Contact Opens S.F. Office

Constant Contact, an email marketing, online survey and event marketing business headquartered in Waltham, Mass., has opened an office in San Francisco, and it is hiring.

The company had previously announced it would expend westward when it acquired San Francisco-based social media marketer NutshellMail in May for roughly $6 million. It has four offices and 38 jobs listed on its website, including is several in San Francisco.

Constant Contact, which competes with San Bruno-based Responsys, among others, last year had revenue of $129 million, and it has predicted 2010 revenue will be roughly $174 million. Its San Francisco office is located at 49 Stevenson Street in the SoMa district, which is increasingly populated with technology companies.
