UCSF ‘tops off' stem cell building

The final structural steel beam for the University of California, San Francisco stem cell research building was installed last Thursday.  The new 75,000-square-foot structure designed by Rafael Vinoly from New York is being built by DPR Construction, Inc.  250 researchers and staff will be housed in the building located behind the UCSF Medical Center at the Parnassus Avenue campus.  The building is funded by the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine.
