State money for new housing in the Bay Area

New housing will be built from the money that the Bay Area government received from the state. The total amount of $229 million will go to build housing close to transit developments including San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Hayward, Fremont, Union City, El Cerrito, Pittsburg, Sunnyvale, and Santa Rosa where housing already exists. The project is meant to increase density in those areas.
