 SF PUC starts building stalled $188M HQ

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is starting to build a new headquarters at 525 Golden Gate Avenue worth $188 million.  The project was designed by KMD Architects and is being built by Webcor.  The new 221,000 square foot building will be energy and water-efficient with exemplifying the highest standards of sustainability, example for the Green Building movement and utilities around the world.
