Maveron sets up San Francisco office
A Seattle venture capital Maveron LLC is opening its office in San Francisco. The firm that focuses on the consumer business services has $800 million under management and raised a new $150 million fund in February 2007. The San Francisco new office is for promising wellness, online education and Internet-based consumer business activities. Maveron is planning to be temporary located on Stevenson Street but is in discussions to lease location on South of Market or around Jackson Square and will have three full-time workers, visiting partners, advisers, and eventually early startups.
