Chinese solar firms shine on Bay Area
Chinese solar firms shine on Bay Area
Solar EnerTech Corp. based in Shanghai with U.S headquarters in Menlo Park has formed a joint venture with Jiangsu Shunda Semiconductor Development Co., based in Yangzhou, China to provide better service to U.S. customers at a lower cost. The new venture called SET-Solar Corp. with headquarters in Mountain View is concentrated on selling and manufacturing solar panels in the U.S. The company is planning to hire 50 people in sales, marketing, and operations within the next 12 months.
