41 US cities have double-digit unemployment

According to a new release from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, among 100 major labor markets there are 41 cities with double-digit unemployment rate.

In California, the most suffer the following regions: Fresno with 15.2% unemployment rate, Bakersfield- 14.7%, Riverside- 13.7%, San Jose- 11.8%, Sacramento- 11.6%, Los Angeles- 10.6%, and San Francisco-Oakland- 10.3%.

In the US, the biggest job losses occurred in the three major metro areas Los Angeles where 259,100 jobs were cut, New York City- 226,900 jobs, and Chicago- 207,600 jobs.
