A strong business community makes for a vibrant economy and a livable city. Through collaboration with like-minded organizations, the SFCED works to optimize the economic climate for San Francisco and its neighbors. As an affiliate of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, we are able to leverage their public policy expertise for influencing City and State legislators. We work with other chamber affiliates such as SF Works who provide workforce training and other related workforce development benefits to San Francisco businesses. We also work with regional groups, trade associations and the Mayor's Office of Economic and Workforce Development, we maximize opportunities for the economic development that makes San Francisco an ideal place to do business.
San Francisco also partners with sister-city Cork and the Cork Chamber of Commerce to foster closer links between the organizations and respective business communities
